Bobbie Loughlin - Neurodevelopmental Screener
Bobbie lives in Wakefield with her husband and two children. A complete neurodivergent household, she understands that it can be the small things that make the difference.
Specialising in managing anxiety and working around those who are demand-avoidant, Bobbie understands that ideas may have to be tweaked and enjoys coming up with creative solutions to meet others' needs. When she’s not working, Bobbie loves cooking and being outdoors as she finds both activities really help to regulate her busy brain.

Problem: Are you feeling stressed and overwhelmed that you or your child cannot fit in or keep up with everyone else. Feeling left behind, that your world’s on fire, and currently there’s no let up or ending in site. Do you feel like, you are walking on eggshells? At any given moment the world could come tumbling down with what feels like irregular and irrational emotional responses.
This may affect every aspect of your life, including school, work, and home. Any downtime together is often anticipated with fear and widens the divide of the family.
Approach/Solution: I look to improve overall well-being by exploring your physical, mental, emotional, and social health. This creates a holistic view of where you are currently at so I can accommodate each of your unique life experiences and therapy goals.

Experience: Selena is a Registered Counsellor. She has worked for Place2Be within a school setting using a person centred approach,offering mental health support for young people in a safe, warm and non judgemental environment through creative and imaginative play. Selena strives to work with young people and their families to help explore their world and help support them to navigate and cope with the challenges in their life.
She has also volunteered with various charities providing support for clients living with chronic pain and bereveament having experienced the loss of a child.
Her interests include Pilates, walks with her 2 children,making jewellery and cooking.
